Winter is coming soon, and after serving the homeless people on streets since last winter, we really hoped to find a good shelter for them to stay warm and clean.
On September 22, 2021, we met the management team of one of the largest Berkeley shelters. The warm and friendly staff members showed us the clean and well-organized facility. We are going to deliver hot meals to the shelter. A safe place to sleep, shower, clean water, cereals, and boxed sandwiches, which we can access any time, are luxuries for those on the streets. Some of them work hard like us, but they unfortunately cannot afford an apartment with their wages. It is a truly blessing to find such a nice shelter for them and we are really happy for them.
We thank everyone who is there for the homeless.

The Sports Basement promotion greatly helped people shopping before school started. It also boosted sales for the store.
The donation box we put at the store was full of backpacks, jackets, and shoes which we handed to those who needed them. San Ramon Sports Basement is willing to leave our donation box there permanently and we regularly receive donations. Our donation drive team diligently manages the donation box and delivers home made cookies to the store staff to express our appreciation.
We thank all the people who make this happen.

After hearing about the stories of the We Care Youth Coalition, members of Muse Art Club wanted to do something to help.
On July 10, 2021, Ashley Li, co-president of MUSE Art Club, led a spray paint event to fundraise for the We Care Youth Coalition, supported by fellow Muse Art Club officers Olivia Phongsa, Kylie Chang, Anica Xie, and Joyce Huang. This fun event attracted a wide range of aspiring artists, from elementary school students to UC Berkeley sophomore: Lillian Liu, Kevin Li, Raymond Li, Theodore Li, Michelle Li, Jeffrey Liu, Elaine You, Lily Song, Alivia Wang, Aliya Patel, Madison Ding, Chelsea Zhou, and Maddy Wang.
We thank all of the people above to help raise funds for homeless people.

Thanks to the coaches at Micro Motion Table Tennis Academy, former Chinese National Players, for their support. We hosted four free lessons and received a total of 500 dollars and bought backpacks, blankets, and comforters for the homeless community. The number of young homeless people has decreased since May. We hope that with our help, they are able to find jobs and get back on their feet.
